The challenge for this card was this sketch:
What inspired me to make a mini card was that I already had a left over little oval piece of paper from the last card that I made (in the post just before this one, see?) - I knew I could use it for something! :D
Instead of a written sentiment, I chose to add a heart....it's an unwritten sentiment that says a thousand words, right? :)
I was going to make the card black, white and red....but I didn't have a red button, so I had to choose between pink and purple (because those are the only colours of pretty buttons that I have), so purple won! I tied a sparkly string through it.
I inked the edges of the oval, stamped on 3 purple flowers, drew in some stems, and added some bling to the flower centres.
The background paper is actually from a note card that I had that came with a bunch of flowers that I got for Christmas, it was so pretty that I knew I could use it somewhere. So I cut a piece from the note card and glued it to this mini card. There was a small strip of patterned paper left, and I didn't wanna throw it away, so I glued it to the inside of the card:
I added a silver mini clothing peg that I still had left over from my wedding stuff - so now you can add a teeny tiny note to your gift. :D Eeeeeeee! :D It's so cute.
