Nature on a Card

PSSST!  Remember to enter my Who Made What? Weekends! party this weekend!

I'm so happy with how this card turned out! I've been trying to figure out for hours how to get it just right! :D

This card was inspired by Whoopsi Daisy Challenge's Lace & Pins Challenge!  The theme is just as the name says - it has to have lace and pins on it!  So...here's mine:
I used a really pretty cream paper with a gold glitter swirly leaves pattern.  Pretty ain't it??! :)
Anyway, I cut out 2 scalloped circles with my fancy scissors (I really need to get me some scalloped circle punches!!), and glued on a cute little leaf embellishment.
I used some red lacy ribbon left over from Christmas gift wrapping I received this year.  Then I had some left over gold spray painted twigs from my garden (that I used to make serviette rings with for Christmas lunch and that have been laying here on my desk since then!), tied them together, added 2 pins to the twig bouquet, tied some more red lace around it and hot glued it to the card:

Ta da! :D

Your card is lovely! I really like the addition of the twigs with the pins. I am very fond of the simplicity and the color combo, too. Thanks for being part of the Whoopsi Daisy challenge!
Hugs,
Betty
