Ocean Greeting Card

PSSST!  Remember to enter my Who Made What? Weekends! party this weekend!

Yep....another card! :D  This one I made for Challenge Up Your Life's Challenge # 34!
The theme for this one was a photo inspiration, plus 3 buttons:
So I made a little ocean/beachy themed card.  I cut out 2 different blue papers with wavy fancy scissors, and used a marbly type design paper for the sky in the background.  Then I made a teeny cute little banner! Using scrap ribbon and ordinary white paper that I cut into triangles, stamped on them "aloha" and inked the edges:
I also added summery brads to the ends of the ribbon:
I added some bling to the card too - at first I was going to glue them to the tips of the banner triangles, but that looked a little odd...I think.  So I ended up glueing them randomly on the card.
And THEN I wasn't sure how to incorporate the buttons onto the card...so I finally decided on the arrangement you see above.  I didn't have strings to tie through the buttons like I often see people do, and they looked too bland as is, so I glued some more bling onto all of them:
And inside I glued some left over paper after cutting out the waves:
The insides of cards of often neglected, but I like to add something inside. :)

Anyway...I'm not sure what to think of this little card...but I think it turned out cute enough.  And also, it's one of the few things I've made that I think will be suitable to give to a man, hehe, (since I seem to have mostly feminine creative flair) so I'm sure it'll come in handy somewhere. :)
