I'm not always sure what to get people as gifts, so I thought this time, instead of buying them something edible (probably chocolate), I'd make a pack of generalized cards to give them, which they can then in turn use for someone else as needed. I stamped these cards with a very general sentiment, so they can be used for many different occasions!
I used plain white card stock for the card, patterned card stock for the design which I cut out with fancy scissors and glued on, and stamped "Best Wishes" on it. I made a pack of 4 cards using different card stocks on them:CLICK ON AN IMAGE TO ENLARGE IT |
Also, a good gift for someone who seems to have everything and need nothing. :)

What a wonderful idea! I was just wondering what to gift to a few on my Christmas list that seem to have everything. This is a great idea. I'm a part of a Stamp Camp and often have extra cards that I can never remember who I have sent them to already. This would be a great way to put together a set of cards to give as a gift.
I also wanted to say that I adore your blog. Your UPcycling (a new term I learned from a magazine recently) is creative and I can see myself trying out many of the ideas. That is why I have so enjoyed reading through your blog and look forward to what else comes!
Beautiful card! I love it! Thanks for playing Stamping with Brenda Clean & Simple Sunday Challenge.
I did this for family and friends last year when money was really tight...
I love notecards, because it beats running to the store and the handmade aspect is much more personal!
great work...

{hope to see you back this week at Creative Juice Thursday}
What a lovely set of cards - lovely colour theme.
How smartly you have done those cards... I love to make cards as gifts too but somehow spend so much time over them that I don't make enough. But these are so cleverly done. I am certainly inspired.
Thanks,
Monica
